The place was very nice - great views- plenty of room. The issue was getting up the driveway. If it wasn't for the 4wheel drive, we wouldn't have been able to get up it. It should be listed as a "incase of cold/wet weather- 4wheel drive is preferred." I was very glad I didnt bring the car :) overall, the stay was great!

We had a great time! The house was very nice and the kitchen had everything we needed. It’s a bit hard to get up to without FWD, but they did recommend it ahead of time. They even assisted in helping return a blanket that was left there! Highly recommend.

The pictures do a very good job at baiting you in thinking it’s a lot nicer than what it is. To name a few flaws: the drive up the hill to the Airbnb is almost an off road trail it is definitely not made for low clearance cars. The floors were very dirty like they have not been mopped in possibly months leaving peoples feet and socks black on the bottom. Gross. The beds are VERY firm like sleeping on a brick so unless that’s what you like expect to not get any rest. Everyone we had here complained about the beds being uncomfortable. All of the cushions on the outdoor furniture were missing so we couldn’t comfortably sit and enjoy the view. The outlets in the master bathroom didn’t work. The sauna has a giant 2 way window facing the “kids room” balcony? Awful design… lastly the “movie theater had no surround sound and just a cheap tv screen… other than that it was okay but definitely not worth what we paid. If I had to sum up this place in a word it would be: ✨Uncomfortable✨

The home was great. On top of the mountain with views of Gatlinburg and the Smokey Mountains. A few minutes from town. The outdoor furniture and hot tub were damaged by a recent storm and disheveled upon arrival but the hosts responded quickly and restored the hot tub. The home is as described with listed amenities.

The unpaved road up the mountain has some large ruts and is narrow and steep, so be prepared. It's worth the drive up to get the views and quiet location.

Great house and awesome location! Super peaceful and private! Hosts were very responsive and friendly! The private drive up to the house can be difficult if you drive a small car. Beds, dishes, linens were all very clean. The bathrooms and floors were a bit dusty and dirty. There were a few things broken/ in need of repair upon our arrival that I feel like should have been repaired based on the price of the home. Other than that, the home was great for our weekend in Gatlinburg!

We had an amazing stay during Thanksgiving at this cabin. The place was beautiful with incredible views, and everything was spotless when we arrived. The cabin had plenty of amenities to keep our whole family entertained throughout the holiday. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back!

Ryan and Kara are very friendly and responsive. Their home is beautiful. It has everything you need to cook and feel at home. Their cleaner, Ashley is great. She came right over and addressed an issue we had and also brought us a Dutch oven so we could make soup. The driveway getting to the house is a little tricky, but once we got to the house, we felt right at home. I would recommend this place and would definitely book again!

Beautiful views! Close to downtown Gatlinburg, very clean and spacious. Love the bathrooms! Only negative would be the way to get to the cabin very narrow gravel scary road at the top. Other than everything was perfect!

We had an amazing time staying at this house! It’s a windy road up the mountain to get to the house, but totally worth it! The views are beautiful & the house was clean and cozy! Our kids (ages 8, 6 and 3) loved the house as well!

We’d like to start by thanking Ryan &Kara for hosting us in their beautiful home — it truly looks just like the pictures!
However, we did notice several housekeeping and maintenance issues that need attention. Unfortunately, the overall cleanliness was quite poor. The bedding did not appear freshly changed, and the master bedroom outlets were not working. The shower in the master bath had visible pink mold around the door,
the cabinets under sink in master bathroom looked like they hadn’t been wiped down in a while, and the laundry area also outlets not working dryer vents not secure all the dust go around the laundry room ,with noticeable dust on decorations wall Kitchen items were limited — the pots and pans were in poor condition and too small for a group of 14 people. The faucet was loose and felt unstable, and one of the kids’ bunk beds had a mattress that kept slipping off due to missing rails.Grill outside it’s not been cleaned too.. Jacuzzi has some smell and floating bandage

Amazing views from all areas of the accommodation.

Just a warning regarding the road leading up to the lodge, I’d definitely recommend a 4x4 vehicle. Extremely steep, sketchy long road with sheer drop offs would have been nice to have been warned prior to arrival at night time with no light.

The host mentioned about the road being re-paved soon however this probably would have made it even harder to get traction in wet weather.

Oven provided however no oven dishes so unless you wanted to put your food directly onto the oven griddle there wasn’t really any other way to use the oven.

Major positive is we saw two bears right outside our lodge!!! Amazing thing to see.

For an uninterrupted view of the Smoky Mountains this is the place.

Downtown Gatlinburg is close for easy access to entertainment and restaurants. Great getaway from hectic life !

We loved the house. The double doors off the main living area were great with the big windows. The deck was wonderful in the mornings and evenings. We spent a lot of time taking in the view and the weather was perfect during our stay. Because we were so close to the Gatlinburg attractions, we didn’t cook or even get to enjoy the spa, pool table, etc. For a rental, we felt right at home which isn’t always the case. Just like many of the other reviews mentioned, the driveway is a little nuts but we felt it made the trip more adventurous. Overall, it was a nice house close to the top of a mountain with beautiful views. Exactly what we were looking for! Thank you! 😊

Great price for the location and amenities

It was great place to stay with family and friends. We had great time there. We had bear visit us on our first day. It was magnificent to watch him walk around the house. House is big and clean. We had great time.

We had a lovely stay at this Airbnb with our family. The house was very clean, including the bathroom, and had all the amenities we needed to feel comfortable. Fresh towels were provided, and the rooms and furniture were practical and well-suited for our needs.

We especially appreciated how well-stocked and thoughtfully maintained the space was—it really made our stay enjoyable.

The only challenge we encountered was the final stretch of the drive to the house. The last few minutes are on a gravel road with some large potholes, which can be a bit tricky for bigger vehicles.

That said, once we arrived, everything else made up for it. We truly enjoyed our time here and would recommend this place to others looking for a peaceful family getaway.

The house was fine, but it is apparent that the cleaning and maintenance has not had a lot of oversight. There was dirt, dust, and dead bugs all over the home, some hair in the shower, dirty dining room table, etc). Lots of damage to walls, some broken things around the home, and a lack of overall care taking. Some safety concerns around the home were apparent (barbecue screwed to the deck that had legs about to break off, rotting deck post that could easily lead to a fall, retaining wall collapsing toward the outside sitting area, unsecured floor vents throughout the home, etc.).

It should be noted on the listing that the driveway to get to the home is steep, narrow, and overgrown with bushes and canes that can potentially scratch up your vehicle. Some parts of the road have been washed out by rain and erosion as well. Luckily all those in our party had vehicles capable of reaching the home, but if anybody had a compact car or lower vehicle, there would be no way to get there.

The way going up the place was a little steep and winding but when you reach there, the view and the house were exeptional and breathtaking. Were 12 in the group and everyone did have a great experience while in Gatlinburg.
I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a great adventure and at the same time peaceful stay and experience.

Good location, steep/narrow road to get to the house. It was pretty well kept, the grill was a little wonky, probably from bears, not the owner/other guests. A fair amount of seat cushions missing on the deck. Great view. Hot tub was nice but also would suddenly get possessed & couldn’t turn off the jets.

It's a beautiful house that sits all by it self. The deck wraps around most the house and has plenty of seating for everyone to enjoy the views. It's very quiet and sits all by it self. My kids loved the movie theater room. The Jacuzzi was nice to relax in in the afternoon. Easy 5 min drive to downtown and stores near by.

Our host, Ryan, was very communicative and responsive, and reached out to make sure all our needs were met before and during our stay. One minor issue was addressed and resolved almost immediately. Would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect cabin for a girls weekend away! Very clean and great views! Beds were very comfortable. We had a few minor issues but the host was very responsive and helped to fix them quickly. The location is up a long and narrow dirt road, we were able to access fine but I would use caution if there was a lot of snow, ice, or heavy rain.

Our family stayed here over Thanksgiving weekend and this place was perfect for us. Plenty of space to spread out yet great spaces for us all to be together as well. We enjoyed a movie in the theater and cooked our Thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen. The place was just as it was pictured and the host was quick to address any issues as they came up.

This place was absolutely perfect. The view was amazing and the pictures really dont do it justice. It’s super close to everything but feels very private and quiet and it’s very comfortable. We had a bear come by one day also! The road up is very steep in a couple places - you definitely need four or front wheel drive.
