This space was perfect for the trip that finally made it out of the group chat! Plenty of room for all of us, and was close to our planned activities and downtown Jasper. Still peaceful and private feeling. The instructions to get there were perfect. Definitely recommend!

Lovely cabin just outside of Jasper! Really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings while being close to town and very beautiful hikes. **You definitely need a higher-clearance, AWD vehicle because the road to get to the cabin is long, steep and can get really bad ruts if it's rained.**

Ryan and Kara were very communicative leading up to our trip and during. Would book again if we're ever in the area!

This is a great place to stay. It feels private and secluded even though there are a few cabins around it. We loved the hot tub. We wished the Jacuzzi tub would've been in a master bathroom with a door. It was on the upstairs landing open to everyone, so it was difficult to use. They mentioned in the description that it didn't have a door but I thought it was in a master bathroom in which you could close the bedroom door. The amenities they provide are very basic so if you are staying longer than a day with a group, bring toilet paper, laundry soap, and dishwasher pods. Also there are no board games or toys for kids, so be sure to bring your own. Beds were comfortable and we liked that there were tons of towels for the hot tub and showers. Although the amenities were low quality, overall it was a good place to stay and we would stay here again. It's in a great location, 5 minutes from downtown Jasper.

Booked for a trip to the outdoors and the cabin was amazing. Very helpful hosts with clear instructions, a squeaky clean house with all amenities needed, and nature all around. Overall a stay of recommend.

The hot tub’s chlorine level was so high my wife and I both got burns from it. This is the second time we have stayed in these cabins. We enjoy the area and the privacy. The kitchen was well equipped and check in was super easy.

Ryan and Kara’s place was perfect! There was plenty of space for our family of six, the kitchen was well equipped, and we made very good use of the hot tub. The location was private and secluded, yet only five minutes from amenities. We had a great stay!

Very nice and beautiful cabins with great views! Very cozy and relaxing. Had difficulty actually finding the cabins initially and wish there was notation on the listing about AWD being recommended. But overall super comfortable stay and very nice hosts.

We stayed in the Water Buffalo Cabin. It was absolutely perfect & can't wait to go back. Pictures did it justice, and the view from the hot tub was so beautiful. And we had a view of the Little Buffalo River!!!
The cabin had everything we needed for a 4-night stay. We were a little afraid of driving our Camry
up the steep driveway because of reviews that we read, but it made it up the driveway just fine.
Maybe in really rainy weather it would have been difficult.
There was a lot to do in the area and surrounding areas. Hiking, Elk in the wild, and of course cool over looks.
Out Host was amazing, & also very accommodating when we had a hiccup in the dates. If you are looking for a short getaway, I highly suggest using Halara Hosting. -Amy

We loved staying at the water buffalo cabin! The views off the back deck were gorgeous, the rooms were cozy, and we loved the hot tub!

We had a great stay! Beautiful views and a comfy place to stay. Would definitely come back!

It was a fabulous cabin and the hot tub felt great on the cold nights.

The host Kara and Ryan were friendly, communicative, and proactive. We liked the location, it was scenic and private but parking could be bit challenging because of mud and extra vehicles parked in our spaces on the first couple of days. Parking was easier after that. The place was well decorated and clean. The climate control kept the place warm and comfortable. The kitchen is small and probably fine for BBQs and casual cooking, is not ideal for bigger more complex meals. The oven and stove were a little sketchy, one burner did not work and the other large one was hit and miss. I really liked the hosts, they got us new cookware during the visit, which was thoughtful.

Very great experience. Lovely cabin and communication with hosts. Be prepared to do some driving up to the cabin on steep gravel road. It isn’t too long on that path though and we don’t even have a 4WD.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin for our Anniversary. It was clean, comfy and just as described. This cabin had everything we needed to make this a stress free and relaxing trip. We really loved relaxing and enjoying the pretty view from the hot tub on the back patio. We also loved the location as it’s very close to town and also not far from hiking trails. The road was steep to get to this cabin which we were already aware of and it was not an issue for us. We would definitely stay here again.
