Really nice cabin in the woods. There were a few homes nearby including across the street but felt pretty private and secluded which was nice. Was a good size for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens). Would recommend.

The cottage is suitable for small families. The entire house was clean and well-kept; however, the space feels much smaller than it appears in the pictures. Although we reserved the house for five people, we only received bed linens for four. We requested the delivery of the missing linens, which was promised but never fulfilled, even though we stayed for four nights.

We enjoyed our stay! We felt safe- traveling alone, everything was perfect! We didn’t need to communicate because all the information was provided upfront- they continued to check in ensure our needs were met! Great experience!

Amazing! From beginning to end. The cabin was just as described & expected. Super clean! Decorated so cute- had already put the cute Christmas tree up, which added a sweet holiday touch. Private & beautiful! The windows brought in an amazing sunrise & then being able to sit on the back porch & drink coffee or sit in the hot tub, it was all together wonderful & exactly what we needed. Communication was unmatched from any Air B&B I’ve ever stayed at. We came in later than planned & got turned around but I received immediate response & guidance. It was amazing to feel like if we needed anything or had questions Halara would have been right there. We will definitely remember Halara’s & would definitely come back!

This cabin was absolutely perfect for our stay. Traveling with 4 adults, we had plenty of spaces to gather as a family but also well laid out for quiet time! Upstairs full bathroom, bedroom, game area and living room provided private, peaceful space of their own for our daughter and boyfriend while the downstairs provided the same for us. The beds are super comfy, we all had the best sleep! Bedrooms are very large, bathrooms were exceptionally clean and had everything we could need. Nestled among the trees, we spent a lot of time enjoying the decks and the hot tub was perfect. A well-appointed kitchen made for some great family meals; living room and gathering space, the extra touches the hosts provide were thoughtful and much appreciated! I would highly recommend this to anyone seeking a log home retreat while still being in nearby range of so many sights, great attractions, activities and shopping. Thank you Kara and Ryan!! We loved our stay, your home made for the perfect vacation!

Such a beautiful cabin. Not deserted but still quiet and peaceful. Beds were comfy too!

We enjoyed our stay at Bearhaven. It was so peaceful and just a short drive to town. I would definitely recommend this cabin.

We had a great time! The home was very clean and welcoming! The road to get to the home is a little windy which is to expect for Gatlinburg, so I would highly recommend.

Our stay here was very peaceful and relaxing. Definitely recommend this property if you’re trying to get away from it all. We were within 30 minutes of everything so the location is great. The property felt very much like home and honestly the best beds I’ve ever slept on while on vacation.

We had a lovely girlfriends trip and staying here was perfect! Just enough privacy, safe, and located close enough to activities! We cooked in, went on walks, and had a memorable time! The place is well set-up and has a cozy feel. We would absolutely stay again.

Halara place was a great secluded place, nice cabin with a beautiful wood cabin.
Cabin was very clean, Halara was very friendly always willing to help anything one would need, highly recomend Halaras place.

Our host sent clear instructions and checked in with us during our stay to make sure everything was working well. We especially loved the hot tub. We had several deer visit us during our stay.

Our stay at Halara’s Bear Haven was wonderful! The cabin was beautiful, with all we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were friendly, quick to respond, welcoming, and accommodating. We especially loved the comfortable beds, the fully equipped kitchen, and the fun space in the loft where the kids could play, relax and watch a movie as a family, play games, or enjoy the swing chair. The private deck off the back surrounded by the trees and nature sounds was very peaceful as well. We will be renting from Halara again in the future!

Very beautiful home, close enough to everything so there is always plenty to do and get into. The drive up to the cabin is an adventure in itself, it has some pretty steep hills to climb but completely doable (just don't get into a hurry due to some tight blind turns but our whole stay we only saw 1 other vehicle on that road so traffic is very very light). Highly recommend this property. It was very clean and homey when we arrived and check in was smooth with no kind of hiccups. All in all it was a very pleasant experience.

Loved the cabin! Views were amazing! And place was very cozy.. my husband and I loved the nearby taco trunk.
