AWD HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Please be advised that the final road leading to the cabin features a steep incline. It is strongly recommended, especially during the winter season, to arrive in a vehicle equipped with all-wheel drive (AWD) if available. While it is possible to ascend the hill without an AWD vehicle, having one will significantly enhance traction and improve your safety while navigating the road.

SEASONAL FIREPLACE
We love cozy fireplaces as much as the rest, however during the warmer months we cannot allow them to be ran. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THE FIREPLACE FROM MAY 1 - NOVEMBER 1ST.
We had a great stay! Beautiful views and a comfy place to stay. Would definitely come back!
Gorgeous view from the deck.
It was a fabulous cabin and the hot tub felt great on the cold nights.
The host Kara and Ryan were friendly, communicative, and proactive. We liked the location, it was scenic and private but parking could be bit challenging because of mud and extra vehicles parked in our spaces on the first couple of days. Parking was easier after that. The place was well decorated and clean. The climate control kept the place warm and comfortable. The kitchen is small and probably fine for BBQs and casual cooking, is not ideal for bigger more complex meals. The oven and stove were a little sketchy, one burner did not work and the other large one was hit and miss. I really liked the hosts, they got us new cookware during the visit, which was thoughtful.
Very great experience. Lovely cabin and communication with hosts. Be prepared to do some driving up to the cabin on steep gravel road. It isn’t too long on that path though and we don’t even have a 4WD.
We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin for our Anniversary. It was clean, comfy and just as described. This cabin had everything we needed to make this a stress free and relaxing trip. We really loved relaxing and enjoying the pretty view from the hot tub on the back patio. We also loved the location as it’s very close to town and also not far from hiking trails. The road was steep to get to this cabin which we were already aware of and it was not an issue for us. We would definitely stay here again.
Amazing stay with amazing hosts! One of the best cabins we’ve stayed in by far! Can’t wait to come back again!
The cabin is exactly as described and as pictured. We would definitely stay there again.
Cabin was just as described. Very quiet area up on the hill.
Nice cabin located close to town!
I had an amazing stay at this cabin in Jasper, Arkansas! The location is absolutely perfect – peaceful, surrounded by beautiful nature, and just a short drive from all the trails and attractions in the Ozarks. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail really made it feel like home.
The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made sure everything was perfect. It’s the ideal place to relax after a day of hiking and exploring. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a quiet getaway in one of the most beautiful areas of Arkansas. I will definitely be coming back!
Nice cabin with plenty of room!
Ryan communicated well. The cabins were as advertised. A little tough to find even with the specifics that the host offered but certainly manageable. Not sure I’d take this specific trip again but if so we would certainly stay with this host again.
We love staying there my boys love the hot tub. It’s a great location and it’s close to Jasper and Harrison.
Great place! We brought our 3 young children to Arkansas to experience the Buffalo River and there are plenty of nature activities within a reasonable distance from the cabin. It’s very spacious and has everything you need away from home. The front area of the porch is large and has plenty of room to toss off dirty shoes and hang wet floaties. There were plenty of towels, wash cloths, and kitchen linens for a few days and it was nice not to have to think about washing towels several times to keep up with 5 people while on vacation. The washer/dryer is extremely convenient and appreciated. The dining table is huge and I was able to use half of it to organize 4 days worth of food and snacks and still have space for all 5 of us to eat meals together. The back porch was so nice to drink our coffee on in the mornings. It felt private and secluded even though town is only about 4 minutes away. We think that Pruitt’s Landing on the east side of the bridge is the best swimming spot! Thanks!
Ryan was an excellent host who was always responsive whenever I had questions!
This place is in a great location if you need to be close to Jasper. Plenty of places to eat and be close to the river.
If you have a larger group be prepared to share one shower or if you’re close enough to your travel companions you can use the exposed bathtub.
Kitchen is stocked with most of the basics you will need to cook.
The hot tub is a nice feature and the setting in the trees is nice.
sleeps 10? technically yes. but they better be small. and sharing 1 shower for 10 people? first, the road was washed out. AWD would be recommended but this made it a necessity. even in AWD I struggled. When we arrived the first thing is lack of parking. Then the dry rot on the walkway coming to the front door. The wood is crumbling and feels spongy when walking. When we walked in, it is beautiful. It is what was pictured, but we all instantly said we thought it was much bigger. Especially for the money paid, and stating sleeps 10, we really expected the room to be larger. The ad says spa like bathroom with a picture of a jacuzzi tub. The tub isn't even in a bathroom. it is completely in the open. there is zero privacy to use the tub. We came back from the river and had to take turns for the shower. Nobody wanted to be in a jacuzzi tub out in the open with family watching TV. The hot tub was nice, fire pit too.
We loved our girl’s weekend at this cabin!
Such a lovely secluded home. Communication was outstanding.
The cabin was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The hot tub was perfect, and the beds were very comfortable. The location is excellent, with easy access to Jasper and the surrounding area. You’ll definitely want a 4WD vehicle to get there, but it’s worth it. We really enjoyed our stay.
Loved it, would love to go back. Thank you!
Great cabins and location. Everyone enjoyed their stay and we rented multiple cabins next to each other for a large group Buffalo float trip. We will be returning again next year.
El lugar muy tranquilo, fácil acceso y concuerda con la descripción muy recomendable para pasar un buen tiempo de descanso, y el anfitrión muy atento a todas las dudas que surjan recomiendo mucho el alojamiento
Such a wonderful cabin and excellent overall experience. Kitchen had all the cookware needed, beds were comfortable and everything was clean. Host was fast to respond to a question and kindly provided thorough instructions. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. Hightly recommend!
Excellent location for hiking, biking and kayaking. Great "in the woods" retreat with good views, a hot tub and a firepit!
We loved this cabin so much! Previous guests had left behind firewood, so we made sure to leave behind some lighter fluid and charcoal to pay it forward. The host was extremely helpful and responsive. We had lost our phones, and they helped us coordinate getting back on track and focusing on our time there. Jasper is a darling town! There is a coffee shop called Peggy Sue's about 5 minutes from the cabin; we got their 'Liquid Gold' every morning. The Little Buffalo River is right around the corner, our boys enjoyed collecting rocks to bring home as little treasures. At the cabin we did a lot of bird watching, we used Merlin Bird ID to identify different call sounds and binoculars to find them. Fully stocked kitchen - we could cook 2-3 meals a day, they even had plastic plates and cups + children's utensils. We will be back!
Highly recommend staying here!! It was so peaceful and cozy with beautiful views! Would definitely stay here again!
Jasper is not a very big town at all. Many restaurants are closed on Tuesday. There is a Harp's grocery about 20 mins away. Getting to the cabin was not hard, follow the Google link the host provides after check in. The incline is very short, but it is on an unpaved road. The location is very serene and is perfect to get around to the Buffalo River. This river is perfect to swim or canoe in. It's a hidden gem in Arkansas. The best waterfall called Twin Falls is about 15 min drive from the cabin. It's a steep and treacherous descent to the Twin Falls trailhead but it's a once in a lifetime experience. Would not attempt in heavy rain or icy conditions down to the falls. The hot tub at the cabin was great anytime of day. The view is of the valley below and you can get a glimpse of the turquoise color of the Buffalo River. Halara/Ryan are very responsive and able to answer any questions. We love our stay and hope to bring other family members and friends next time.
The cabin was very nice, good location and easy to find. The reasons for not given them 5 starts were 2:
1- for the price of the cabin it could have been stocked better, I have stayed in tens of Airbnb and the was less stocked with essentials and kitchen items than the cheapest Airbnb I ever stayed in
2- the check in process was cumbersome, I use Airbnb so I have a reliable platform providing the safety and security I seek, I didn’t enjoyed having to filled out info in additional websites, send 3 pictures of my ID and add credit card information for a $250 hold outside of the Airbnb platform.
Husband and I really enjoyed staying in the Water Buffalo cabin. The cabin was just as described and looked owed just like the photos. Very clean, comfortable beds, and was well stocked with kitchen utensils, cookware, plates, and cups. Host was very responsive to any questions. We will be staying there again.
Beautiful place. This is your perfect get away for a peaceful relaxing time. The town of Jasper is a beautiful spot with small town feel and friendly people. Several different spots to get to the river
Really wonderful place. Comfortable and spacious, close to town but quiet. The cabin was well furnished and the hot tub was fabulous.
Everything was clean and had no issues at all.
Would absolutely stay here in the future.
Halara (a management or holdings company I imagine) is gleefully predatory and dishonest with guests. Be aware that they’ll insist you pay $60 on top of whatever you’ve ALREADY PAID as a non-refundable “damage waiver” or they’ll want you to put a THOUSAND DOLLAR HOLD on a credit card in order to check in. Their obfuscation and platitudes-disguised-as-customer-service are laughable and quite literally against Airbnb policy. Halara informed me that if I wasn’t going to do what they asked for that I could cancel, but $0 would be refunded. I called Airbnb and was informed that they were in violation of policy and would be required to refund me.
I believe that tells you everything you need to know about who you’re renting from if you choose any Buffalo properties. There is a bounty of much better options available within a single mile of these swindlers and liars.
Everything was wonderful. We will be back!
Great cabin centrally located to an unbelievable amount of waterfall hikes! Will be back
Beautiful, clean cabin. Well cared for. Nice all around. Very comfortable and clean. Not far from town, on a dirt road with similar cabins on either side but with plenty of room for privacy. Great hosts. Would stay again.
Very well maintained cabin. Responsive host. All around good experience
