We’re Ryan and Kara—the duo behind Halara Hosting. We started Halara because we saw a gap in property management: too many companies lacked that true owner-minded approach. So we built the kind of management we wanted for ourselves—personal, transparent, and genuinely hospitable.
Halara Hosting started pretty naturally for us. Ryan was self-managing his short-term rentals, Kara was helping run a flip project in the Smokies, and after interviewing several companies, we realized there was a big gap in the industry. That’s when we looked at each other and said, “Why don’t we just do this ourselves?” And Halara Hosting was born.
